Statutory guidance from the government states that each child must be assigned a key person. The key person ensures that that the child’s learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs. This is the person who you can talk to if you need to pass on a message, ask questions or raise any concerns. They will be responsible for your child whilst at nursery, helping them to understand and take part in the activities on offer. During your child’s time at nursery they will be collecting evidence to show the achievements of your child and collating them into a ‘Nursery Evidence Book’.
